# Record store, form and search changes in the activity log

See which store, form and search-engine changes BetterShield Ultra records in the activity log, including orders, products and noindex.

## What it does

BetterShield Ultra adds rows to the activity log, and to every feed that carries it, for changes made in other plugins. It records only changes somebody makes in the dashboard, over REST or from WP-CLI. An order status changed by a payment, a scheduled task or the checkout does not add a row.

| Plugin | Row in the activity log |
| --- | --- |
| WooCommerce | **Store settings changed**, naming the settings that changed, never their values |
| WooCommerce | **Payment method settings changed**, by name, never by value |
| WooCommerce | **Order refunded**: the order, the amount and whether the money went back through the payment method |
| WooCommerce | **Order status changed**: the order, the old and new status and the payment method, when someone changes it by hand |
| WooCommerce | **Product price changed** |
| WooCommerce | **Coupon saved** and **Coupon removed** |
| WooCommerce | **Product removed**: the product's name and whether it was deleted for good. Variations are left out, because editing a variable product deletes them routinely. |
| Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms | **Form changed** and **Form removed** |
| Yoast SEO, Rank Math, ThinkRank | **Search engine indexing changed**, for one page or for a whole setting such as a content type |

ThinkRank rows appear only when ThinkRank is active, and the row says which plugin made the change. Redirects are not recorded.

## Set it up

There are no settings. The rows appear once Ultra and the other plugin are both active. Use the filters in [Filter the activity log](/docs/filter-activity-log/) to find them by their name.

## Recommended settings

Our advice: watch **Order status changed**, **Product removed** and **Search engine indexing changed** on a store or a site that lives on search traffic. To be told as it happens, add a rule for that activity type to an [alert channel](/docs/alert-channel-rules/). A rule sends at any severity, so a low row can still reach the channel.

## What it can break and how to undo

Recording changes nothing on the site. The rows are part of the activity record and follow its retention. Entries already removed do not come back.

## Check it is working

Change an order's status in the dashboard, or mark a page noindex in ThinkRank, Yoast SEO or Rank Math, then open **BetterShield › Activity › Site activity**. A row with the name above should appear within a moment.
